In this role, McGrath will investigate reports on sexual and related misconduct, including sex- or gender-based discrimination involving educational programs, gender equity in athletic programs, employment, and admission.
McGrath has nine years of public service experience, coming to Lehman from the NYPD where she was an Agency Attorney in the Department Advocate’s Office. Her work there included investigating and prosecuting misconduct by uniform and civilian employees of the Department, with a specialization in cases involving domestic violence, child abuse, sexual assault, sexual harassment and employment discrimination.
Before that McGrath worked as an Assistant District Attorney in the Child Abuse & Sex Crimes Bureau and the Trial Bureau of the Bronx County District Attorney’s Office. She is a graduate of the University of Connecticut with a BA in Political Science and a JD from the University of Miami School of Law.
