The long, warm days bring changes and excitement to the neighborhood with more and more office workers returning to the district, alongside a busy calendar of events at Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. What can foot traffic data insights do to inform your business decisions? Is your business closed on high foot traffic days? This summer is a great moment to re-assess your open hours, with major neighborhood employers such as Weyerhaeuser announcing that their staff will return to in-office work three days a week, as well as a full event calendar at Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park driving visitors to the district.
The Alliance recieves daily foot traffic data for Pioneer Square from the Downtown Seattle Association on a monthly basis. The data breaks down to provide daily insights, including which days of the week on average have the highest foot traffic in the neighborhood. Below is a summary of the average foot traffic per day of the week between January - May 2023:
