It's almost summer in Pioneer Square! The long, warm days bring changes and excitement to the neighborhood with more and more office workers returning to the district, alongside a busy calendar of events at Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park. We hope this message will inform your business decisions to capture the most foot traffic and economic activity this summer.

What can foot traffic data insights do to inform your business decisions? Is your business closed on high foot traffic days? This summer is a great moment to re-assess your open hours, with major neighborhood employers such as Weyerhaeuser announcing that their staff will return to in-office work three days a week, as well as a full event calendar at Lumen Field and T-Mobile Park driving visitors to the district.

The Alliance recieves daily foot traffic data for Pioneer Square from the Downtown Seattle Association on a monthly basis. The data breaks down to provide daily insights, including which days of the week on average have the highest foot traffic in the neighborhood. Below is a summary of the average foot traffic per day of the week between January - May 2023:

Welcoming Returning Office Workers

The Alliance are collaborating with major neighborhood employers to share any and all discounts, offers, and specials that retail businesses are providing to that audience.
