Recently, the Lawrence Partnership, in collaboration with Merrimack Valley Small Business Coalition, including event organizers EforAll & EparaTodos Merrimack Valley, Essex County Community Foundation (ECCF), Merrimack Valley Planning Commission (MVPC), and MassDevelopment, hosted an event at Northern Essex Community College (NECC) on the power of AI in business.

Emceed by Sophan Smith, ED of EforAll/EparaTodos MV, and George A. Ramirez, ED of the Lawrence Partnership, the event began with AI expert Jose Tovar, who introduced attendees to AI and its practical applications. Keynote speaker Eloisa Marquez-Gonzalez, CEO and founder of Walking Tree, followed with an insightful talk on sustainable business growth and how AI drives efficiency and innovation.

A highlight of the evening was the panel discussion featuring Abel Vargas (Valley Home Insulation LLC), Cristal Delgado (Marketing Consultant & Creative Director), and Javier Borrero (Borrero Photography & Marketing Solutions), moderated by LP Staff Associate Genesis Duran. Panelists shared real-world experiences on how AI helps streamline operations, enhance marketing, and free up time for high-priority tasks.

Attendees also had the opportunity to connect with local organizations at resource tables including We Are ALX, Nectar Community Investments, and EforAll & EparaTodos Merrimack Valley, and participate in a special giveaway. Thanks to TEK Collaborative, the first 25 attendees had the opportunity to win a free Chromebook to support their continued learning.

A big thank you to our speakers, panelists, vendors, and partners for making this event a success! As AI continues shaping the future of business, we look forward to more opportunities for learning and collaboration in our community. Stay tuned for upcoming events!
