Fellow Chamber members:
Fall is always such an exciting time – seasons changing, football games and warm drinks – a great recipe for happiness! The Chamber helped two new businesses celebrate their grand openings in October with ribbon cutting ceremonies for River Bend Park and Forged in Fire Fitness. Did you know that the Chamber can be a great partner in helping you celebrate? And attending these ceremonies is a great way to network and to celebrate the achievements of our friends and neighbors. Mark your calendar for the next event – we’d love to see more faces!
Fall is also a time that our Chamber and its many volunteers begin to ramp up their efforts to bring you some GREAT Fall/Winter activities. Did you happen to join us for Fall into Grafton? The Chamber has made this into a fun, family friendly event with an annual pumpkin derby and miniature golf course throughout downtown businesses. It’s a great way to get the family outdoors and enjoying our great downtown. Our Christmas Holiday events are just around the corner too. There are so many ways to get involved – sign up to decorate an elf to go on display in the Plaza, sign up to be in the outdoor decorating contest for you home, attend our tree lighting ceremony, watch our AWESOME Christmas parade (or host a float or other community group), or have breakfast with Santa. Each of these events need volunteers to make them run as smoothly as they do. Please call the Chamber office at 262-377-1650 to see how your talents can be utilized as a volunteer.
And finally, a little early, but…. Happy Thanksgiving to all – I hope that yours is filled with great food and company (and not too many dishes to clean up at the end of the day).
