Welcoming a Great Neighbor: Important Parking Update

For years, the parking lot next to the Northern Middlesex YMCA has helped accommodate members, staff, and visitors during our busiest times. Soon, that will change for a very exciting reason. TThe YMCA parking lot will continue to be available for members, staff, and visitors. The only change is that the adjacent parking lot will no longer be available for YMCA use once Charles IT takes occupancy.

If the YMCA parking lot is full, metered parking is also available along Union Street.

We're thrilled to welcome Charles IT as our newest neighbor!

As Charles IT prepares to move into its new headquarters adjacent to the Y, the neighboring parking lot will become dedicated to Charles IT and Mondo employees and visitors. Beginning August 1, 2026 the lot will no longer be available for YMCA parking.

Charles IT has been an incredible community partner over the years, generously supporting our mission through events like Chill for Change, where their team has braved the icy waters of Job's Pond to help raise funds for our Annual Support Campaign. They have also provided significant in-kind technology support and continue to partner with us as we prepare for our upcoming facility renovation.

Their investment in our community goes well beyond business, and we're proud to welcome them next door.

What this means for YMCA members and staff

• Beginning August 1, 2026, the Charles IT/Mondo parking lot will no longer be available for YMCA members, staff, or visitors.
• Please use designated YMCA parking areas when visiting the facility.
• We appreciate your patience and understanding as everyone adjusts to the new parking pattern.
