SNOWPLOW NAMING & TRACKING
Wellington, it is time to name a snowplow! Students from Rice and Eyestone Elementary have submitted names and you get to help choose the winner. Vote for your favorite name with the button below.

The winning name will be painted on the snowplow by students from Wellington Middle School.
Naming a plow is *snow* much fun but that is not all. You now have access to real time plow tracking. Plow tracking will help you prepare to commute and #KnowBeforeYouGo.

Where plows have been will be highlighted along the route. The line color will change to indicate the time since the last pass. Click here or use the button below to check out where plows have been during winter weather events.
The next Board of Trustees Regular Meeting will include possible utility rate change adoption. The meeting will be Feb. 8, 2022 in the Leeper Center - 3800 Wilson Ave or listen on Zoom.

Water Conservation Grant Awarded to Town of Wellington
The Town of Wellington has been awarded the WaterNow Alliance Project Accelerator grant. This grant will provide the Town with 250 hours (valued at $25,000) of professional support from WaterNow’s expert staff in water conservation and communication strategies.

The goal of this project will be to develop a personalized water conservation campaign that is specific to Wellington’s needs and can be used for awareness and outreach for many years to come.
Larimer County News for Wellington
Join Larimer County Commissioner John Kefalas at his VIRTUAL Wellington Community Conversation, at 7:30 a.m., Feb. 3, 2022.

Larimer County Solid Waste Director Duane Penney, and Community Planning, Infrastructure, and Resources Director Laurie Kadrich will discuss the Solid Waste Master Plan and give a new landfill update. Click here to register to attend this meeting.
