Wellington Nations Cup Team Results Pending Due to Protest

Wellington, FL - April 12, 2013 - The Wellington Nations Cup CDIO 3* was held today with 10 teams participating at the Adequan Global Dressage Festival. Following the close of competition, a protest was filed with the Appeals Committee for Mikala Munter Gundersen (DEN) of Team Europe on the judging of her ride. The Chef d'Equipe for Team Europe filed the protest within the one hour time limit.

 

The Appeals Committee consists of Marian Cunningham (PER), Lorraine McDonald (CAN), and Sandy Hotz (USA). The Appeals Committee will meet on Saturday morning to discuss the protest and make a decision.

 

Due to the protest, all of the team scores are still provisional and results are pending. Following the decision of the Appeals Committee, the full team results will be announced. The decision will also affect the order of go for tomorrow's FEI Grand Prix Freestyle CDIO 3*.

 

Tomorrow's CDIO competition continues with the FEI Intermediaire-1 Freestyle CDIO 3* at 3:35 pm. Competition in the International Arena begins at 9:30 am with the FEI Intermediaire-1 CDI 3*.
