Dear friends of the travel industry,

The past few weeks have been a month dedicated to inspection trips. We ventured along the backroads of the Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range in North Vietnam, witnessing the country’s most spectacular rice terraces at their peak. We explored new trails around Luang Prabang to craft engaging walking and e-biking tours. And on electrified wheels, we pioneered a new way to explore Tam Coc — discovering that even the most iconic destinations can feel fresh when experienced differently.

Pioneering new places and new ways to explore them is why we love what we do. It re-energises us — giving us a quiet sense of wellbeing that doesn’t come from a spa, but from the feeling of discovering something meaningful and sharing it with others. We've also received visits from our hotelier friends, and of course, we couldn’t resist creating a few very special tacticals worth keeping on your radar.

We hope this newsletter has sparked fresh ideas and renewed your excitement for our destinations. If you’re attending WTM next week, I would love to connect and explore how these stories can become standout experiences for your travellers.

See you soon! Hen gap lai!

Helpfully yours,

Guilhem

⛰️ Wellness in Adventure — The Hoang Lien Son Mountain Range

If travellers think they’ve already seen Vietnam, bring them here and watch their definition of scenic change. Following the iconic Road 32 reveals landscapes that feel almost dreamlike: rolling tea hills, sculpted terraced rice fields, sweeping valleys, and villages of wooden houses on stilts. It’s a fairytale made of backroads, open horizons, and communities that welcome you like a returning friend.

Rest assured this isn’t a place we stumbled upon. We know these routes like the back of our hand. Over years of exploration, we have mapped hidden paths and formed relationships that allow travellers to experience the region in the most meaningful and respectful way.

Travellers can cycle scenic backroads, trek quiet mountain trails, or hop on the back of scooters driven by friendly locals who know every bend in the terrain. They connect with communities, experience authentic hospitality, and stay in either luxury retreats or characterful ecolodges. This region isn’t just beautiful, it is one of Vietnam’s strongest experiential travel grounds.

🚲 Wellness in Modernism — Has The Age of E-biking Finally Arrived?

Vietnam and Laos have always been exceptional cycling destinations. The challenge was that some travellers would look longingly at these scenic routes and then decide they weren’t “fit enough” for the road ahead. E-bikes have changed everything, suddenly. Adventure is not about endurance, but about pure joy, and we are already ahead of this curve.

We launched Hanoi’s first e-bike tour, part cultural scavenger hunt and part unforgettable sightseeing experience through hidden cafés, old railway tracks, and neighbourhoods most travellers never reach. Now, we are expanding with Tam Coc exploration by e-bike, surrounded by iconic limestone peaks and emerald rice fields near Ninh Binh. And in Luang Prabang, we are adding two new routes: one through pristine mountain landscapes along the Namkhan River, and one to Kuang Si Falls that ends with a farm-to-table cooking session and lunch.

Same adventure. Less physical strain. More travellers can finally say “yes.”
