On March 2, Staff Council's Employee Health and Wellbeing Committee hosted Changing Relationships: You and Your Aging Parents as part of its quarterly Wellness Wednesday series. The discussion centered on the importance of self-care when caring for aging family members.
Women's History Month Lecture 
Join the Center for the Study of Women, Science and Technology for its 2022 Distinguished Lecture featuring Gilda Barabino, president of Olin College and former Georgia Tech professor and inaugural vice provost for academic diversity, Thursday, March 10.
Conversations with Cabrera: Greg Lukianoff 
President and CEO of the Foundation for Individual Rights in Education Greg Lukianoff will discuss the role and responsibilities of universities in creating and supporting a culture that values and protects diverse perspectives with President Ángel Cabrera on Thursday, March 17. The Georgia Tech community is invited to attend the event virtually or in person.
Culture Initiative Seeks to Strengthen Institute Values
Living Our Values Every Day (L.O.V.E. GT) seeks to help the Georgia Tech community bring the Institute’s values to life in our everyday work. Preliminary survey results show that members are embracing the values on campus. You are invited to help continue the work by registering for monthly Leading Congruently workshops.
Science and Engineering Day at Tech 
The Institute and the Atlanta Science Festival present Science & Engineering Day at Georgia Tech, Saturday, March 19. Various campus units and organizations will open their doors for lab tours, hands-on STEAM activities, exhibits and demonstrations, and will talk about research happening at Tech. 
Learning Resource Catalog 
Workplace Learning & Professional Development has released its 2022 Learning Resource Catalog which includes crafted resources and learning opportunities for employees across Georgia Tech.
The Parking and Transportation Services Office offers a discount on transit passes for MARTA, Xpress, CobbLinc, and Gwinnett County Transit. Employees can also save on passes through pre-tax payroll deduction purchase.
The Office of Undergraduate Education is seeking Fall 2022 GT 1000/2000 instructors. The courses support the retention and success of first-year and transfer students. If you are interested in teaching GT 1000 or 2000, complete an application by Friday, March 18.

Engage​: Build a collaborative environment where staff can develop, grow, and participate in the Tech community.​

Advocate​: Be the voice of the staff by bridging the gap between executive leadership and staff.​

Inform​: Become the avenue by which staff receive information concerning Institute priorities and initiatives.
