Are you a Master Multitasker?
The verdict is in and experts agree being a "master of multitasking" is a myth. Meaning it is near impossible to complete multiple tasks at the same time effectively and efficiently. Entrepreneur magazine states the only exception is when one or more of the tasks is second nature and doesn't require real thought or in the case that the the tasks being performed involve different brain processes. We fool ourselves into thinking we can effectively perform multiple tasks such as checking email while taking a phone call at the same time. The truth is your brain is switching the focus between tasks so rapidly that you believe you are completing tasks at the same time. Attempting to perform multiple tasks at the same time is taxing on the brain and may lead to anxiety and dissatisfaction. There are many strategies to support focusing on one task or "mono-tasking." Setting schedules and journaling are two strategies that help to improve focus on completing one task at a time. Thus leading to decreased stress and a more efficient use of your time.

Consiglio Wellness Center - Care At Your Convenience

For your safety, an appointment is currently required to be seen in the clinic. We will continue our commitment to accommodate your schedule and see you as quickly as possible.

Call before you head over. Together, we can determine if an "in person" visit or a Telemedicine visit would be most appropriate.

COVID-19 Testing Now Available
Through a partnership with the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education and the school district, CWC is able to provide an antigen based rapid COVID test. The tests are available to employees only.
Employees will be required to call ahead, answer screening questions and present their District ID Badge at the time of the test as confirmation of eligibility. The tests are performed via “Drive Thru” at the Consiglio Wellness Center. The nasal swab is performed while you are in your vehicle. Results are available in approximately 15-20 minutes.
Although spouses and dependents are not eligible for this specific program, the CWC nurse practitioners remain able to order tests for these individuals through outside sources.
