Looking for a Springfest alternative?
The
Leonard Bernstein Festival of the Creative Arts kicks off on
Sunday, April 7 from noon to 5 pm, with SUPER SUNDAY, an afternoon of music, performance, dance, and art activities in the Shapiro Campus Center. Enjoy performances by guest artists and your fellow students (Top Score, Hooked on Tap, Ballet Company, MAD Band, and more). Try a flamenco or African dance workshop. Make an African beaded bracelet. Or
volunteer for the event! All are welcome. Sponsored by the Office of the Arts.

Don't miss Afro Flow Yoga
On Wednesday, April 10, from 7-8:30 pm in Shapiro Gym: Experience
Afro Flow Yoga, a unique hybrid of yoga, dance, and rhythm in a compassionate, nonjudgmental, and safe environment. Afro Flow Yoga promotes healing, balance, and peace in a session set to live percussion and guided by spiritual principles of the African diaspora. Open to all levels of ability. Sponsored by the Office of the Arts, Brandeis Athletics, the Brandeis Counseling Center, the Office of the Provost, the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, and the Dean of Students Office. Advanced Bystander Training:
Transitioning into the Workplace
Tuesday, April 16th, 6:30-8pm
Golding Auditorium 110
How might intervening be different in your workplace? What options for reporting exist when you are no longer on campus? This training addresses issues of violence and harassment off campus, and discusses issues of power dynamics and much more.
This debut workshop is open to undergraduate and graduate students, and co-sponsored by PARC and the Hiatt Career Center. Eat dinner beforehand or bring it with you; we will have dessert for attendees!

Interested in practicing mindfulness and learning how it can help with reducing stress, managing emotions, and self-care? Try the Zen Zone on Thursdays from 1:30-2:00PM in the Usdan Peace Room.
Zen Zone will meet on April 4, 11, and 18. There will be no meeting over the break.
