This past week was abundant with activities that Welltech1 took part in.
We just concluded the Global Wellness Summit and were honored to have been the Marquee sponsors of the 2020 Global Wellness Summit who took place November 8–11 at The Breakers Palm Beach, FL.

As part of our collaboration with the Global Wellness Institute in general and particular in this event, we launched along with the Global Wellness Summit (GWS) the “Call for Wellness Innovations” competition to seek wellness innovative ideas from companies. That included existing companies that recently developed new creative ideas along with startups who sought to break into the wellness space. 

Get a closer look at our panel moderated by our partners Galit Horovitz and Amir Alroy, who conduct one-on-one meetings with unique and exciting startups on the topic of “Wellness Technology: Startups from the Startup Nation”.
The companies that participated in the panel: Fitto, Fitv, Amkiri, Seatback, Tolive smoothies, Newt, PopBase, DayTwo and Calmigo.
Among the startups that participate in the competition and made it to the 12 finalists startups you can find Fitv & Amkiri, both portfolio companies of Welltech1.

While many talented wellness related startups participated in the competition, the winner was ultimately the Israeli company Amai Proteins which uses sweet designer proteins as a substitute for sugar.
