Spring has sprung at Neighborhood Homework House
Spring is in full bloom and we've had a lot going on. let's get you up to date on what's been happening, and what we have coming up in the near future.

Clubs at a Glance
Katrina, the leader of the typing club, started out with a large group of younger students and found it difficult to find a typing curriculum that was easy for all of them to follow while keeping them entertained. Over the course of the semester, she has encouraged an interest in typing and formed personal relationships with the children, fostering in them a desire to learn about and use technology in their everyday lives. Most of her students are 2nd and 3rd graders -- eight and nine years old.

Super Subs
Due to the end of college semesters, a majority of our academic tutors leave at the end of November and April. This allows a "Super Sub" to fill those shoes during the months of December and May. This is a great opportunity for people who can't commit for the entire semester. There is no minimum time commitment. You can choose to volunteer for one session up to the entire month!

...
As we look forward to May and beyond, we would like to thank you for all of your support, we could not have gotten this far without you. If you would like to continue supporting us as we gear up for summer, click here to find out how you can help out .
