West Virginia Rx Card Helps Patients Fill Their Prescriptions
West Virginia State Medical Association (WVSMA) in partnership with West Virginia Rx Card reminds physicians that patients who are not insured or who take prescription drugs that are not covered by their health insurance plans, can use the West Virginia Rx Card to obtain discounts of up to 75 percent off the retail price for FDA-approved medications.
West Virginia Rx Card has been working closely with WVSMA, as well as numerous clinics and hospitals around the state to distribute free discount prescription cards so that all West Virginia residents will have access to this free program. The program can also be used by people that have health insurance coverage with no prescription benefits, which is common in many health savings accounts (HSA) and high deductible health plans.
West Virginia Rx Card is a proud supporter of Children’s Miracle Network and its network of CMN hospitals across the country. A donation will be made to your local CMN Hospital each time a prescription is processed using this Rx savings program.
