Come and enjoy the annual City Band Summer Concert in the Library's Patron's Park. Please bring your own chair or blanket to sit on.

Evening yoga and tai chi – In partnership with Advocate Aurora and the YMCA

Summer Music Series: August 6th | 1:00pm

Fred and Cherie will play those number one hits that you heard and sang along with on AM radio back in the 1960’s. The words will be projected on the TV screen if you would like to sing along. From early folk favorites to the “British Invasion” to those peace and love classics of the late 60’s, this is a concert series you won’t want to miss.

History Club: August 10th | 6:30pm

Come join the West Bend Library History Club for a dive into the history of Apollo 11. Together we will watch footage from the entire process. Prep, launch, and mission control! Come learn the unique history behind such a special space operation! This will be an event where all ages will be able to get excited about history!

Bingo: August 11th | 2:00pm

Join us for a fun and friendly game of bingo at the library! Enjoy prizes, laughter, and a great time with the community. No registration required — just drop in and play. All are welcome.

After reading "A Man Named Ove", participate in a brief group discussion followed by a FREE screening of the film adaptation at The Bend Theater. You can check out copies of the book in both English and Spanish at the library!

Gardening - 100 Ideas: August 12th | 6:30pm

Join us as Master Gardener, Steve Schultz, shares his expertise from his visits to gardens around the world!

Crafty Chapter: August 13th | 6:30pm

Give old books new life! Stop by to explore creative ways to transform books into beautiful décor. Learn simple techniques for folding pages into artistic designs or creating unique book vases by cutting and shaping the pages. Examples and step-by-step instructions will be available, and books are provided. All ages and abilities are welcome.While supplies last.

Nature Storytime: August 14th | 10:00am

@ Lac Lawrann

Please park in the main lot and we’ll gather in the Nature Playground amphitheater (outdoors). We’ll meet in the Nature Classroom under the Maurin Center in the case of inclement weather. We’ll share some bird stories and learn about birds. Afterward you’re welcome to stick around to play on the Nature Playground, hike, explore the ponds and lakes, or see what else you can discover!

Fusion Music: August 18th | 6:30pm

Citizen Advocates Fusion is a group for everyone that loves music. We welcome people of all ages and all abilities to join in whatever way they are able.

Bake-Off Award Ceremony: August 18th | 6:00pm

Calling all bakers! Pick up your registration packets for our 2nd bake off competition. Registration forms are due back by Tuesday, August 11 at the latest. Judging will take place over two days August 17 and 18 and the awards ceremony will be held on Tuesday, August 18 at 6:00 pm.

Literary Washington County: August 19th | 6:30pm

Presented by Jenna McWilliams. From journalists who pioneered reporting in the rural Midwest to novelists who influenced Ernest Hemingway, Washington County has a rich and unexplored literary tradition.

Teen Night: August 25th | 6:30pm

Ages 12+ Join us at the library for an evening of fun, teamwork, and creativity! Push yourself with exciting team-building challenges, low-ropes activities, and minute-to-win-it games, all in a supportive, comfortable space. Bring your imagination and get ready for a super fun Teen Night!

Game Night: August 26th | 6:30pm

Come solo, bring a friend, or gather the whole family for a night of friendly competition and community connection. All ages, all abilities. No registration required.
