About the Presentation: "Biofuels in Canada: A Decade of Progress & Policies for the Next Decade of Growth"

The webinar will highlight findings from Biofuels in Canada 2022, from Navius Research, and ABFC’s Clean Fuels Report Card 2022.

The Report Card will show, for example, that

  • Over 2010-2020, Canadians paid a financial penalty of over $2.58 billion as a result of fuel taxation based on volume instead of energy content.
  • When combined with carbon tax penalties, Canadians were improperly charged $4.2 billion (2010-2020).
  • Ethanol in gasoline saved Ontario drivers $2.03 billion over 2010-2020.
