Your exercise experience may be a little different, but as a part of our thoughtful phased reopening approach, we’re implementing the following workout safety standards with your health in mind:
- Face coverings – our team members are required to wear face coverings, and we ask you to as well, except for when you’re actively exercising.
- Social distancing – you’ll likely notice increased spacing between equipment and limited occupancy within certain work out areas to allow for appropriate social distancing. Look for extra signs to guide and remind you.
- Deep cleanings – we’re committed to continuous frequently scheduled disinfections of high touch surfaces throughout our facility.
- Self-cleaning stations – readily available sanitizing wipes will be offered to wipe down equipment before and after use. We’ll also have hand sanitizer for you well within reach.
- Limited workout lengths – to ensure all of our members get the opportunity to exercise, we’re limiting all workouts to 60 minutes.
- Remaining contactless – we’re strongly encouraging our team and fitness center members to refrain from personal contact with others.
- Temperature screening – prior to entering our fitness center, we’ll be checking temperatures of all of our members. Members with fever, symptoms or recent contact with any COVID-19 patients, will not be granted entry.
Fitness center members who are over the age of 65, have chronic medical conditions or may be more at risk for COVID-19, need to take extra precaution and refrain from the use of our fitness center during this time.
As we navigate through the phased reopening of our fitness center locations, there will be more updates to come. We appreciate your help and understanding as we get through this together. For the latest information about COVID-19, visit lcmchealth.org/coronavirus.
Taking care of our health is more important now than ever before. Each of us will play an important role in making West Jefferson Fitness Center a safer experience for us all. We look forward to seeing you again soon and let’s continue to take great care of each other.
In good health,
Anette Cheramie
Director of West Jefferson Fitness Center
