Saturday, April 3, 5 PM - Sunday, April 4, 12:30 PM
Happy Easter and Passover! Food trucks and the Mi Cocina pop-up bar will be available on our East Lawn all weekend, and our FREE game cart will also be there, open for business, on Saturday from 12-5 PM. The West Lawn will be closed starting at 5 PM Saturday for St. Luke’s Easter in the Park. We are delighted that so many of you signed up for this event after last week’s newsletter. They are now at capacity!
St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church
Easter in the Park
Sunday, April 4, 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM
St. Luke is hosting two Easter morning services in the Park, including an Easter Egg gathering for children (age 3-12) during their 11:30 AM service. This event is FREE and open to the public, but tickets are required, as capacity is limited (social distancing protocols will be in place). Both services are SOLD OUT.
Dallas United Prayer Vigil
Tuesday, April 6, 6:30 - 7:15 PM
The First United Bank COVID-19 Prayer Vigil will take place on Tuesday evening. Families who have been affected by COVID-19 are invited to join with faith leaders to pray for those lost to the virus, as well as their families, communities, first responders and caretakers. Masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged.
Game Cart Volunteers Needed!
Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 PM
Did you know that April is National Volunteer Month? Celebrate by giving of your time to Klyde Warren Park! If you are an outgoing, park-loving, people person who loves for visitors to have a great time, help us check out our free lawn games and assist guests with Park-related questions. Volunteer slots are available on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-5 PM. You must be 18 or older; a background check is required.

if you are unable to socially distance.
