I have been a resident of Pasco County for the past 15 years and have one Son, Joseph Liska V, a graduate from JW Mitchell HS, and currently a College Student.  I am originally from Southern Illinois, and have my Mother, Brother, Sister, and a Niece and Nephew, who all live on our family farm property where I was raised!  

The American Cancer Society is the nationwide community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

Research: Our funding of Innovative Research has contributed to the sharp decline in Cancer Deaths.  We're investing more than $450 million in over 50 types of cancer research.
Education: Our 24 HR, 1-800-ACS-2345 national information hotline and local office resource rooms house free resources, information and guidance for local patients and caregivers in need.  
Advocacy - The American Cancer Society Cancer Action Network is the Society's nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy affiliate - promoting change at all levels of government.
Service - Lodging, Peer to Peer Support, Rides to treatment, and many other navigation programs to help aid in the Survivor's Cancer journey.

Signature Events help raise Funds to support our Programs and Services such as: 
Relay For Life is the world's largest grassroots cancer fundraising event and the embodiment of our determination to raise Cancer Awareness and Funds.
Making Strides Against Breast Cancer is the largest network of Breast Cancer events taking place in 300 communities with a shared determination to raise funds and finish the fight against Breast Cancer.

My active involvement in the community helps me spread the word about ACS. I am involved in being a  Rotarian with Wesley Chapel Rotary club; Rotary District 6950, Area Membership Representative Area 5;  West Pasco Chamber of Commerce; Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce; Central Pasco Chamber of Commerce; Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce; West Pasco Business Association; Relay for Life and Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Team Captain; Take Stock in Children, Mentor 2016/2017; Tobacco Free Florida Coalition member; ACS Cancer Action Network member; Pasco Education Foundation Volunteer; Pepin Academies Gala Volunteer;
