Welcome to our monthly newsletter for families at WSPC!

Children are a gift from the LORD; they are a reward from him. —Psalm 127:3
1st Service Kids's Sermon Project
The 1st Service Kid’s Sermon Project has been going even better than we had hoped! If you aren’t a regular 1st service attender, kids sit with their families in the service and come forward during the sermon to work on a sermon-themed craft project at the front of the sanctuary. Following the sermon, kid’s return to their families. We have found that kids love being in the service and are engaged with the sermon, responding to Pastor Laurie’s questions to the congregation.

With the success of the program, we have found that we needed to expand. As you have probably noticed, we have removed a 2nd pew from the sanctuary to create a Kid’s Area in the sanctuary. Advent is a time for many families to visit new churches, and with the larger Kid’s Area we have the room to accommodate more kids! We’re excited to continue to find ways to facilitate all-age worship together as one big church family!
