T-STEM Academy at East High School

Inspire. Challenge. Equip.

From the Desk of the Principal

Greetings Parents,

Let me begin by saying thank you for patience as we adjust to this new normal known as virtual school. I want to reassure you that teachers are working hard to make sure high-quality and rigorous instruction is happening daily. The amount of grace you have shown us these past two weeks has been nothing short of amazing and for that I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. From the emails, to the phone calls, to the interactions during our first book distribution last week, your kind words have served as a source of motivation and encouragement during this challenging time.

As a reminder, make sure your information in PowerSchool is updated. All communication sent from me goes through the SCS communication system. Also, if your child is experiencing technical issues at any time, please let their teachers know so we can correct their attendance. Teaching and learning must still go on in spite of any computer issues your child may be experiencing. Therefore, all teachers are required to have a back-up assignment for students who are having difficulty logging in to their computers.

Please feel free to email me at robertsonnc@scsk12.org if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you again for your support. Take care and stay safe.
