Safety Tips: Just Drive - April is Distracted Driving Awareness Month
A typical text takes about four seconds to send. Driving at 55 mph while you text for four seconds means you’ll have traveled the length of a football field, all without your eyes on the road.
Help end this deadly habit during Distracted Driving Awareness Month. Team up with NSC and help your workers make the safe choice to always drive distraction-free.

Take the JUST DRIVE Pledge and share with others, co-workers, family and friends!

Join AGC for Construction Safety Week | May 2-6, 2022
Join with AGC of America in planning to participate in this year’s Construction Safety Week, May 2-6. The theme is CONNECTED. SUPPORTED. SAFE. Being connected gives us strength because it means we are not alone. It means we’re side-by-side in building a stronger, safer industry, and in creating a safe, supportive environment for our workers. Supported means we are here to help each other stay present and focused on the job, regardless of our role or workplace setting. It means ensuring our workers are equipped with the resources and support they need to work safe every day. It means being aware and in tune with the health and wellbeing of those around us, being able to see the signs of struggle that can impact safety and productivity. It means knowing when and how to be there for each other, and that we’re all in this together.
We encourage member firms to get involved in and celebrate our shared commitment to safety. Click HERE to access and download all of the tools and resources to get started on planning your activities, including tips, best practices and all of the Safety Week branded materials you’ll need to support your events and communication. In addition, please complete this FORM to let AGC know if you would allow media to come and cover your safety week stand down event. Access AGC’s events and resources for safety week HERE.

Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at 1:00 pm CDT (90 min)
Fall Protection Expert Q&A Panel
This event, taking place during the 9th annual Safety Stand-Down to Prevent Falls in Construction, continues an ongoing series of Fall Protection Expert Q&A Panels with members of the ANSI/ASSP Z359 Committee. Recordings are available from previous panels on March 4, 2020 and April 20, 2021. In this third webinar, our panelists will review information on how to utilize the Z359 fall protection standards, including the recently updated SRL requirements, and will directly answer your questions about fall safety on construction job sites. While there will be an opportunity to submit questions live, we will focus on those we get in advance first and encourage you to submit a question when registering at the link below.
