Dear Pastor/Friends,

As you can see in the collage above, this has been one of the most exciting, busy, enjoyable, and Spirit-anointed summers imaginable here on the West Texas District.

Highlights Include:

• The election of two wonderful new General Superintendents at our General Assembly.
• Serving with our WT delegation at the General Assembly.
• The powerful worship services in Indianapolis, in which our own, Bruno and Gabriela Ponce were among the leaders.
• Our wonderful CRAVE teen camp where they experienced a powerful outpouring of the Holy Spirit’s blessing…and countless victories!
• Family Camp, which was an extension of the revival and renewal which began at CRAVE.
• The beautiful baptism service at Family Camp.
• Our Wonderful Kids Camp, which is going on right now. How beautiful to see the altars filled with children. How great to greet the kids groups, from Cactus, and from throughout the district!
• Serving with the WT Disaster response team following the tornado in Perryton.
• The adoption of our Andrews church by one of our newest congregations, The Bridge, of Big Spring.
• The renovation of the Fuente de Gracia sanctuary and church exterior by Lee’s Bee’s, W&W team.
• The installation of Pastor Kevin Harris, and his wife Felicia in Dodson
• The appointment of Noe Diaz (and Regina) as our new pastor in Denver City.
• The election of Pastor Steve (and Amanda) Pettit at Arlington First Church.
• 167 teenagers and sponsors for WT who attended the awesome Nazarene Youth Congress in Tampa!
• And all of the wonderful ministries of our local congregations!!!

We give the Lord honor and Praise for these many blessings…and many more we cannot see. Also, I cannot fully express our appreciation for the leaders, volunteers, staff, pastors, and many more who have served so sacrificially and faithfully in each of these WT district ministries the summer. We love and appreciate you!

Surely you can see why I feel so honored and privileged to serve on the West Texas District!

Mission Offering 2022

I am excited to announce that in 2022 the West Texas Kids raised over $10,000 for Arrowhead Camp and Retreat Center! Check out our video to see how that money was used for our camp.
