Upcoming Event Spotlight
Zoe Empowers Virtual Mission Trip

Zoe Empowers is a three-year, community-based, indigenous led empowerment program where orphaned and vulnerable youth take the lead in their own journey out of extreme poverty. With almost 60,000 young people actively enrolled in India and across Africa, these orphaned young people should never need charity again.

Pack your bags for a virtual trip to Rwanda, Kenya, and India! Glimpse a miracle of God through orphaned and vulnerable children around the world lifting themselves permanently out of life-threatening poverty. What does this unique travel experience include?
Day 1 on Tuesday, May 11 at 9:30 to 11am (EST): Visit Rwanda with Epiphanie Mujawimana, founder of Zoe’s empowerment program and manager of Zoe Rwanda. We will hear directly from young people who have overcome extreme poverty and isolation—there may even be some singing and dancing.
Day 2 on Wed., May 12 at 9:30 to 11am (EST): Explore a Kenyan village with Reegan Kaberia, Zoe’s chief program officer and manager of Zoe Kenya. Hear directly from the incredible boys and girls in Zoe’s program. Be inspired by the triumph of the human spirit in God’s hands.
Day 3 on Thurs., May 13 at 9:30 to 11am (EST): Travel to India and speak with Nani Chintala, manager for Zoe Vizag, India. See God’s hope breaking forth in urban slums.

Event registration information coming soon.

Camp & Retreat Centers foresee ‘a future with hope’
Apr 15, 2021 | John W. Coleman
What a difference a year can make—especially this year, and especially for the four Eastern PA Conference’s Camp & Retreat Ministry (CRM) sites.

“Spring has sprung, and we are so excited,” writes Apryl Miller, Director of Gretna Glen Camp & Retreat Center in a recent newsletter. Despite the ongoing, debilitating pandemic, she and the other camp directors are hoping to spring forward into CRM-saving time, when their recovering sites can escape the winter of their discontent and thrive once again.
