Lane Closure: Westbound I-10 Right Lane

(Mile Marker 27 to Mile Marker 24) - Calcasieu Parish

Calcasieu Parish – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced nightly lane closures along Westbound I-10 beginning near Exit 27, Sampson Street, and ending at the I-210 entrance ramp to Westbound I-10. Closures will be 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly from Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026 to Friday morning Aug. 7, 2026.  

All ramps will be open during operations  

Work will be conducted weather permitting. 

The closure is necessary for mill & overlay of outside shoulders along Westbound I-10 in multiple locations.  

Safety reminder:

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment. Area residents should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
