WESTBOUND I-84 TRAFFIC WILL SHIFT ONTO NEW LANES SATURDAY, OCT. 31!

Crews will shift traffic onto the new westbound I-84 lanes between the Centennial Way and Franklin Road interchanges on Saturday, Oct. 31!

This shift will allow crews to build the new loop on-ramp and connections to I-84 and remove the current on-ramp.

To complete the traffic shift, multiple westbound ramps will close overnight on Saturday, Oct. 31.

Here's what to expect:

Beginning Wednesday, Oct. 28

  • The right lane on westbound I-84 must exit at 10th Avenue throughout the week. Please stay in the left lane to continue on westbound I-84.

Saturday, Oct. 31

  • The 10th Avenue westbound on-ramp will close.
  • The Franklin Road westbound on-ramp will close.
  • Lane closures will be in place on westbound I-84.
  • Ramps and lanes will close from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
  • Motorists will detour to Centennial Way. View the detour map.

Thank you for your patience as crews bring the project closer to completion!

Plan ahead, slow down, and pay attention!

What's happening in the work zone is interesting and it can be tempting to look while driving by. Do your best to minimize these distractions and stay alert. Check out the project website and our monthly update videos to see what crews are up to!
