'Setting the Scene' a Huge Success!

Thank you to more than 130 of our partners who participated in our April 16 event, “Setting the Scene: Film Production in Westchester,” held at the Hudson River Museum (HRM) in Yonkers. Our interactive panel discussion with film industry professionals, municipal leaders, locations, and destinations featured an informative exchange of ideas and tips on best practices in film-friendly production.

Special thanks to Masha Turchinsky and the team at HRM for the amazing venue and hospitality, and to our stellar speakers who led the discussion, designed to foster collaboration on filming in Westchester: Joan McDonald, Westchester County director of operations; Yoni Bokser, executive director, New York Governor's Office of Motion Picture and Television Development/New Media; Lauri Pitkus, location manager; Demian Resnick, producer/production manager; and Melissa Velez-Goldberg, director, Office of Film & Photography, City of Yonkers.
