Board Updates and Community News

The Board of Directors has been actively working to ensure continued leadership, governance, and service to our community. We would like to share several important updates from recent board meetings.

At the Board Meeting held on May 14th, the Board appointed Keith Gedick to fill the one-year board vacancy. We appreciate Keith's willingness to serve and contribute to the community.

During a Special Board Meeting on May 21st, the Board appointed Myra Salem to fill the remaining two-year board vacancy. We welcome Myra to the Board and look forward to her service on behalf of the community.

Also, during the May 21st Special Board Meeting, the Board established officer positions for the remainder of the term:

  • Brian Fite – President
  • Anthony Hoffman – Vice President
  • Myra Salem – Treasurer
  • Keith Gedick – Secretary

The Board also approved updates to the community pool rules. The revised rules have been submitted to the county for filing and are currently awaiting completion of that process. Once the filing is finalized, the updated pool rules will be published on all official HOA communication platforms for residents to review.

In addition, the Board is working closely with community staff to assess operational needs within the office and develop plans to backfill vacant positions. This effort is intended to ensure continued support and service for residents while maintaining efficient community operations. We appreciate your patience during this transition.

The next regularly scheduled Board Meeting will be held on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 6:30PM. We encourage residents to attend and stay informed about community matters.

Stay tuned for the official meeting notice!

Pool Rules & Etiquette Reminders

As summer arrives and residents begin enjoying the community pool, we would like to remind everyone that the pool is a shared amenity intended for the enjoyment of all residents and their guests.

Use of the pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard on duty. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times.

Residents age 12 and older must have a current VWOA RFID photo ID card to access the pool. Homeowners with tenants should ensure a current lease is on file with the Association so eligible occupants can receive access credentials. Adult residents may sponsor guests; however, guest access is limited to three guests per resident, with a maximum of six guests per household. Residents are responsible for the conduct of their family members and guests.

All residents and guests are expected to treat one another, as well as community staff and volunteers, with courtesy and respect. Profane language, harassment, threats, intimidation, and other abusive behavior will not be tolerated. The Board reserves the right to review violations and may suspend or revoke pool privileges when necessary.

Thank you for helping keep our pool safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for everyone this summer.
