The Library's Board of Trustees discussed whether to change the Library's mask policy in light of new guidelines from the CDC and updated rules in New York State.
The Board resolved that masks are still required in the Library due to the number of children and immunocompromised individuals in the Library, and the inability of Library staff to determine the vaccination status of every patron. The Board will review this policy again when children under age 12 are eligible to receive vaccinations.
