From Our Principal
Good morning WHS families,
First semester is in the books and report cards will be mailed in the next few days. As we enter into the second semester all students will be getting a copy of their updated schedules.
We would like to extend a thank you to the families that attended the parent forum and community discussion last Wednesday night. The forum provided a great opportunity for families to share and hear from local experts. Overall, the event was very worthwhile. We hope to continue these conversations with both our faculty as well as our students as we move throughout the spring.
There are many other items that Mrs. Bail has covered in her counselor corner below. I strongly encourage you to read that section thoroughly. This week our school counseling staff will host IB/CCP/AP Night on Thursday, January 25 at 7 pm in the Performing Arts Center. This is an opportunity to learn about these different options at Westlake High School and ask questions.
As always, I encourage you to review the WHS announcements. They are a great source of information that are updated daily. Finally, I encourage all families to review the Westlake City Schools Profile. It is filled with lots of information related to our school district.
Have a wonderful week!
