Friday, August 12 - Elementary School Back-to-School Night/Orientation
Please join us for our 2022-2023 Elementary Back To School Event at our new Lower School Campus on Friday, August 12th. Due to limited parking, we will be staggering the program times according to grade level. 
 
1st/2nd ---4:00-5:00pm 
 
3rd-5th---5:30-6:30pm
 
Come on out and celebrate what God is doing in the lives of our students, families, staff, and school as we kick off the 22-23 school year. Feel free to bring your students and their supplies so that they can settle into their new classrooms prior to hearing from teachers and administration. This will take the place of the back to school event that typically takes place a week or so after school starts. Please make every effort to attend.

Friday, August 12 - Upper School Orientations
ALL 6th grade students and parents should come to the Media Center at 9:00 a.m. ALL 7th & 8th grade students and parents should come to the Media Center at 10:30 a.m. NEW high school students and parents should come to the chapel at 10:30 a.m.

Monday, August 15 - 1st Half Day for Students
The 1st half day of school is Monday, August 15. Infants - 1st grade will dismiss at 11:30 a.m. 2nd-5th grade will dismiss at 12:00 p.m. Middle School will dismiss at 11:45 a.m. and High School will dismiss at 12:00 p.m.

What does community really look like? This 2022-2023 school year will focus on how we really KickStart commUnity...and keep it going the rest of our lives. Your middle and high schooler will not want to miss the first week of school! Adventure, activities, and excitement await on August 15 - 19. Be looking for links to permission forms and waivers soon. Please pray our first few days together will jump start something fresh and new!

Monday, August 22 - Josten's Orders at Lunch
A representative from Josten's will be on campus during lunch to take orders from seniors for graduation supplies. Juniors who would like to order a class ring may also do so at this time.

Mrs. Sapp will be meeting with parents of seniors to discuss important information regarding senior year at 6:30 p.m.

2022-2023 Drop-Off & Pick-Up Times!

Please review the drop-off and pick-up times above, as there has been a small change to one of our lower school pick-up times. Families may drop-off students as early as 7:30 a.m. on either campus. Click on the link below for information regarding Extended School Care before and after school.
2022-2023 Lower & Upper School Traffic Patterns

Please review our lower and upper school traffic patterns for the new school year! In particular, there is some very important information for lower school families this year in the directions needed to exit the lower school campus at dismissal, depending on which way you need to travel on Celanese Road.
My Hot Lunchbox Ordering for the 2022-2023 School Year

We are once again partnering with My Hot Lunchbox as our hot lunch program for students in 3K-12th grade. This year's lunch vendors will include Domino's Pizza, Panera Bread, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, Super Chix, and Golden China Restaurant. Salad and beverage options will also be available. Sports Physicals and Consent Forms
If your Upper School student is interested in participating in a sport at WCCS, the NCISAA Guidelines require that we have a current Sports Physical / Consent Form / Concussion Awareness Form on file in the Athletic Department for each student-athlete who participates in interscholastic competition. These forms are renewed annually. You may access the forms on our website by clicking below.
Fall Sports Begin (Pre-season Scrimmages in Volleyball and Soccer This Week)
Fall sports practices began this past week, and we will begin competition this coming week with some pre-season scrimmages.

Thursday, August 11 - Varsity VB and MS Volleyball will host Providence Classical in a Pre-Season Scrimmage at 5:30 & 6:30 p.m.
Saturday, August 13 - Varsity Boys Soccer and MS Boys Soccer will play in the Metrolina Pre-Season Jamboree at Metrolina. VB will play at 11:00 a.m., 1:15 p.m., and 2:45 p.m. MS Boys will play at 8:00 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.

(Tentative) Fall Sports Schedules have been posted online. Typical for this time of year, we are in the process of adding/cancelling some contests. We will get fresh schedules posted very soon.
WCCS Spiritwear Store Opening Soon!
We will be opening the WCCS Spiritwear store for the 2022-2023 school year soon. It’s a great way to grab some gear that you can sport wherever you go! Be on the lookout!
