Beloved congregation,
Pastor Roberts, Pastor Ensley, and I have just returned from a brief, mid-week conference organized by the Gospel Reformation Network (GRN). One of our sister churches, Briarwood PCA, hosted the conference in Birmingham, AL. We had a rich diet of God's Word while there, and we would warmly commend the GRN website as a helpful resource for Christ-exalting, Biblically-faithful commentary on the state of the church today. You may access their website here: https://gospelreformation.net/
In conjunction with the reading and preaching of God's Word this Lord's Day, we will also observe the sacrament of baptism in our morning service. Please be in prayer that God will use this "Word made visible" to enrich our souls.
Another matter for prayer comes from the building committee that we have assembled to oversee the construction of our balcony and second-floor classroom spaces. This past Monday, we released the bid package to potential contractors. We have five different companies reviewing our drawings, which is excellent news. The bid responses are due on May 26th for review. Please be in prayer for this process and a favorable bid!
Lastly, I hope that our mothers have a meaningful and Christ-honoring Mother's Day this Sunday. May you enjoy a sweet time of fellowship with the covenant children God has given you, wherever they might be.
In the bonds of Christ's love,
~Pastor Joe

The worship service bulletin for Sunday's services is available HERE. It contains suggestions from Pastor Steele regarding ways for you to maximize the sense of corporate worship at home. We have also added the announcements for congregants who worship at home.
The Livestream is available HERE and will start 5 minutes prior to the start of each service. The WPC Facebook page also supports the Livestream option.

Good News Club
The Outreach Ministry Team is gauging interest in offering a Good News Club Bible Study at a local Elementary School. Good News Club is a ministry of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) in which a group of trained teachers from local Bible-believing churches meet once a week after school with children who have been given permission to attend. An informational meeting to further present the ministry will be held after Sunday School on Sunday, May 15th in the church parlor. The meeting will begin at 12:10 and will last approximately 20 minutes. Please contact Pastor Roberts if you have questions or if you are interested and cannot attend this meeting.

Graduation Sunday
We will recognize our graduates during the morning worship service on Sunday, May 15th. After morning worship, we will have a short reception in the narthex for graduates and adults prior to Sunday school. Children will be dismissed to Sunday school at the regular time.

Missing Library Books
There are quite a few books missing from our collection upstairs in the church. If some of these books have found refuge in your home, please return them at your earliest convenience. There will be a plastic bin near the stairway for the next few Sundays to collect these books.
We look forward to adding to the collection through donations to the church. Keep us in mind when you're going through your personal library and/or your children's books. While we may not be able to keep everything that is donated (subject matter, age, condition) we promise to be good stewards of the donations we acquire. Please contact Michelle Nelson or Ken Shipman if you have any questions.

Church Giving
We do have a virtual option for making contributions for those who are unable to attend corporate worship in person. For online giving, click HERE. You may also mail a check to the church office. Thank you all for your continuous, faithful and generous stewardship of God's resources.
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may abound in every good work"
(2 Cor. 9:7-8).
