Join the Summer Fun Potluck This Monday Night

This coming Monday, June 20 at 6 pm, our English Language Learners (ELL) students and volunteers will enjoy a Summer Fun Potluck together in Henry Young Hall. Anyone in the CHPC congregation is welcome. Bring a dish that is ready to share and join in this fun gathering. If you have wondered about ELL, this will be a great way to meet our students and learn more about this long-standing CHPC ministry. Our spring session ended May 16 and the fall session probably will not begin until September. We will start that discussion Monday night. Coffee Hours Coming Soon on Sunday Mornings

Nurture Committee has recommended to session that we hold coffee hours on Sunday mornings from 10 to 11am. Session will consider this request at its June 19 meeting. The coffee hours may start as soon as June 26, depending on COVID levels in the community. So watch this space for updates.

Flowers for Sanctuary

Summer is upon us and we are asking that you share whatever flowers you have in bloom for the sanctuary. Please contact David Gibson, Music Director, at [email protected] if you can bring a bouquet.

Donations for UCHM

These items have been requested by UCHM. They are expecting higher needs this summer due to the price increases for food and the kids being out of school. Look for tubs at church designated for “UCHM.”

• Shelf-stable milk
• Low-sugar cereals
• Dry pasta
• Spaghetti sauce
• Pancake/baking mixes (that require water)
