Your Personnel Committee and Session are busy seeking new staff leadership for the congregation. Please keep them in prayer and help them spread the word about our search for a new music director and pastor. Both of these positions are part-time.

Gifts that Keep on Giving

The Woosley family and Leake family established funds whose income provides scholarships for CHPC members and their immediate family enrolled in an undergraduate college or training program. Scholarship application information is publicized each spring, applications are received in late spring, and awards are announced in early summer.

This year the following students will receive scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each (based on full-time student status): Simon Bartlett Turner, Caroline Hartmans, Ross Hartmans, Alek Kissel, Mara Wallace, Tess Wallace, and Madeline Wilding.

Records show that the first award was in 1982. Over the years, more than $128,000.00 in scholarships have been awarded from these funds. We are so very grateful to the Woosley family and Leake family whose original gifts to Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church have provided so much financial assistance to students over the years.
