Join us for an evening of free live music with the Salty Dawgs at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 7, 2026. Come enjoy the summer breeze, relax with friends, and savor some of the area’s favorite food trucks.

One of the food trucks will be Made in Brazil, a Louisville-based food truck offering authentic Brazilian cuisine for purchase, a perfect way to spend a summer evening.

Educational Event with Rev. Alex Awad on Christian Zionism

On Sunday, August 9, from 9:30 to 10:45 AM, Rev. Alex Awad will lead an educational event at Crescent Hill Presbyterian Church in the back building that will focus on the topic of Christian Zionism. This event provides a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of a profoundly important subject that shapes faith, society, and the world today.

Rev. Awad will be in Louisville for the PC(USA) conference on Christian Zionism, which is scheduled to take place from August 6 to 8. During this conference, he will present a workshop titled “The Two Covenants: A Biblical Alternative to Christian Zionism.”

Rev. Awad is a Palestinian American and the author of the books Through the Eyes of the Victims and Palestinian Memories. Both works provide insight into the realities of life under Israeli military occupation.

In addition to his books, Rev. Awad has published numerous articles advocating for justice for both Palestinians and Israelites.



Rev. Awad and his wife, Brenda, served as missionaries with the General Board of Global Ministries of the United Methodist Church in Israel and Palestine. They currently reside in Eugene, Oregon.

Presbyterian Disaster Assistance Hygiene Kits



There is a plastic tub in the Narthex for Presbyterian Disaster Assistance thru September 14, 2026. We will deliver to Beulah Presbyterian Church, 6704 Bardstown Road, Louisville, KY 40291, on September 19, 2026. If you would like to help assemble kits, you can volunteer at Beulah Presbyterian Church from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the 19th. You can donate any of the below items:

Gallon Ziplock bags, 1 bath-sized bar of soap in its original packaging, 1 washcloth, 1 hand towel, 1 toothbrush in its original packaging, 1 nail clipper, 1 travel-sized deodorant, 1 travel-sized toothpaste, 1 travel-sized shampoo, 1 sturdy, wide-toothed comb, 1 travel-sized lotion

Mahjong Group

Our Mahjong Group is growing! If you'd like to learn something new, or if you're an experienced player, please come and check it out! All are welcome.

Our next meet-up is Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Prayer Group for the Middle East

Feel free to join us Thursdays on Zoom, in-person, or both. This group has enabled such support for one another as we all struggle to cope with the tragedies in the Middle East and the on and off cease fires and prisoner releases. The first Thursday of each month the group will meet in person. Please reach out to Soni for locations.
