WA 7th graders on their field trip to the Memphis Aquifer

Achievement Tests this Week

Our 2nd-7th grade students will be taking achievement tests all week long. Please make sure your child arrives to school on time. A good night's rest and a healthy breakfast will go a long way!

Upper School Pancake Lunch Offered this Friday

A pancake lunch will be available for purchase this Friday, May 2, for our upper school students and faculty. You may place your order by clicking the link below and filling out the order form. The reservation form will be open until the end of the day on Wednesday, April 30.

There are two options offered for ordering: 3 pancakes or 5 pancakes. Both options come with 2 sausage links and a bottle of chocolate milk, but you may select if you want 3 chocolate chip pancakes (for $5) or 5 chocolate chip pancakes (for $6). You may either pay with a FACTS charge or bring exact cash on the day of the lunch.

A gluten free option will be made available upon request! Please fill out the form as presented and then send an email to Mrs. Amber Cole (ambercole4@gmail.com) to request a gluten free option. If an email is not received, a GF option will not be prepared! The meal will include GF pancakes and Nesquik chocolate milk. We are currently looking for a GF side and will include it if one is found.

Additionally, in celebration of their last pancake lunch, the seniors will eat for FREE!! Seniors still need to complete the form and make a reservation, but no payment is required. A big thank you to Kristen Gibson for heading up these special lunches over the years and to Amber Cole for stepping in to lead the charge for next year!

Senior Spotlights

Staffing Announcement

After 16 years of faithful service and tireless devotion to Westminster Academy, Debbie Turner has decided to retire at the end of this school year. We are sad to lose her joyful spirit and vigorous energy, but excited for her as she enters the next phase with her husband. From delivering packages around the school with a pep in her step, to catering many senior banquets and graduation receptions with delectable cuisine and class, Debbie has been a gift to our community in so many ways, and we will miss her so much!

To help fill the void she will leave behind, we have hired Jamie Jackson, current 5th and 6th grade aide, as our new purchaser. Additionally, Jamie will take on some bookkeeping and FACTS duties from the business office. Please join us in wishing Debbie T. all the best, and in congratulating Jamie on her new role!

First Friday Fun This Friday!

Invite a friend and come to our community playtime for little ones and parents. Children will enjoy crafts and games while parents have an opportunity to socialize. Snacks and coffee will be served. This event takes place from 9-10 am on the first Friday of the month in the CLC.
