Names to Include for All Saints Remembrance
Sunday, November 6 is All Saints' Sunday. As part of our worship service we will name and remember those who have died since November 1, 2015. If you have names of people who have died in the past year to include in our remembrance, please
pass along those names to Mimi in the church office by noon on Wednesday, November 2.

You are Needed in Church School
Our children need kind, caring grown ups to lead in our Preschool, K-2nd, or 3rd-5th grade class for a few Sundays over the course of the year. It's fun and important, To volunteer, contact Alexis at [email protected].

Parent/Teacher Meeting

All church school teachers and parents are invited to a special breakfast meeting to discuss classroom expectations and how we can all work together to ensure that every teacher and child's church school experience is a positive and safe one. Bagels and coffee provided!

Tables of Thanksgiving

The Board of Membership & Fellowship invites everyone to celebrate the abundance of our blessings at the annual Tables of Thanksgiving on November 6. BMF will provide the turkey, trimmings and dessert. We request that Westmorelanders
bring a "table-ready" side-dish to serve 8. We will provide the utensils.

The Last) Potluck Supper at the Tutts
Saturday, November 12, 5-7pm
During 2016, Amy and Tim Tutt have invited the entire Westmoreland congregation to their home for a series of potluck suppers in small groups (divided alphabetically). The last supper is 5-7 pm, Saturday November 12. This meal is for newcomers, people who forgot their assigned meal, or those who couldn't make it earlier in the year. If you plan to attend the November 12 gathering, RSVP to [email protected].

November Children's Collection - Anacostia Health Clinic
The clinic provides many forms of healthcare for the homeless in the Anacostia neighborhood of Washington, DC. We will collect: Christmas gifts for children (infants thru 10 years old). New clothing, books, toys (If you wrap the gift, please label the package contents.)
Items will be collected during the Time for Children on Sunday mornings.

Sign Up for Coffee Hour!
Coffee Hour is a time to welcome guests and to strengthen relationships within our church community. This ministry is vital to the life, spirit, and growth of our church. Beverages (coffee, tea, water, juice/lemonade) and tableware are provided by Westmoreland. Food is a welcome addition and is provided by Coffee Hour Host(s). Please sign up to host coffee hour (once per year is recommended) with your family or pair-up with another member of the church.
