Claudia Matthews, our Westover Kids Associate, will be ending her time at Westover the end of this month.   Claudia has served the Westover Kids ministry for almost fifteen years, joining the team in June 2004.  She has poured herself into being a consistent source of support through transitions, rebranding and the building up of what Westover Kids offers to its participants and families. 

 

Claudia has been counted on in a variety of functions during her time here.  One minute, she is laboring behind the scenes to help the moving parts of ministry come together, the next she is front and center of registration/check in to make sure everything goes smoothly.  She also never hesitated to recruit her family in making sure the job was done well!  What stands out the most, though, is her heart that kids would come to know & enter into a loving relationship with Jesus.  There is absolutely no doubt that everything she has offered to the team has been from a place of love for kids and her Lord and Savior.

 

Claudia has recently sensed that God is calling her into a new season of ministry.  She sought His guidance and He has been faithful in presenting a new opportunity to minister to the body of Christ.  We celebrate this door being opened, as we know Claudia will honor The Lord with her heart to serve and that those she comes into contact with will be blessed by her efforts.  Claudia will conclude her time here with us on February 22nd.

 

We celebrate all that Claudia has meant to us and are sorry to see her go.  Yet, we know that she is responding to what she senses The Lord has given to her and there is a joy that comes amidst the farewells.

 

Claudia, thank you for all that you have done for Westover!  We have been so blessed by your heart and dedication to this team over the years & we know you will pour the same efforts and love into the next steps in your journey.
