HOSA ON THE GO!

HOSA was on the move again, Friday, Nov. 18th with a fantastic field trip to see Memorial Hermann's Lifeflight operations and a visit to Houston's Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center. Many thanks to HOSA Sponsor, Natasha Sequeira, for coordinating the trip and to our terrific Westside parents who served as chaperones.  Our students would not be able to have these amazing experiences without your help! If you are interested in chaperoning a field trip, please contact Disa Lyon at dlyon@houstonisd.org. You may contact our PTO to be registered as a VIPS volunteer as well.

OUR LEADING LADIES

The Young Women's Leadership Conference was presented by BBVA Compass Bank and Junior Achievement on Wednesday, November 16, 2016.  During lunch, students were mentored and learned about banking, leadership skills and personal finance.  It was a great experience for our young ladies who left inspired and hopeful of a bright future ahead of them.
