PRIDE DANCES AT THE SUPERBOWL

WHS's Pride Dance Team, under the direction of Coach Brooke Demartino, performed alongside Lady Gaga for her Super Bowl LI Half Time performance! The team was scouted by American Dance/Drill Team and hired by Lady Gaga's production team, to round out her legendary half-time show.  The girls invested over 100 hours in rehearsals. They earned this opportunity through precision, patience & grit! It was an amazing time since Lady Gaga was so incredibly kind and gracious to every individual; she hugged, high-fived, danced, and offered our girls praise at every turn.  After their performance, the girls were interviewed by Channel 2 and Channel 26 News.  What an incredibly memorable experience for these young women! Many thanks must go to the teachers for their understanding and support over the last several weeks!
