Music for Autism brought the magic of the Lunar New Year to Westview with a captivating performance by Kake for the Youth. Our students and families were immersed in the beauty of traditional Chinese dances and the enchanting sounds of authentic instruments, creating a harmonious celebration of culture, joy, and inclusion.

Thank you to everyone who attended this special event. It was the perfect way to welcome the Lunar New Year together.

Our next Music for Autism concert at Westview is scheduled for Saturday, April 12, with a returning performance from WindSync. We hope to see you there!

How can you turn everyday moments into social learning opportunities? What simple steps can you take to help your child make friends and build connections throughout the day?

Westview is excited to welcome back Brandi Timmons, Education Director at Incuentro, LLC, to Westview EDU for her presentation, Social Skills 24/7! Join us on Thursday, February 13, at 9:15 AM in Largent Hall as Brandi shares practical strategies to support social development—not just during structured lessons, but in real-life situations.

This session will equip parents and educators with tools to help children build confidence, foster meaningful relationships, and navigate social interactions naturally. Don’t miss this valuable opportunity to support your child’s social success!

This event will be held in person in Largent Hall on The Westview School campus. Zoom attendance will be available by request. All attendees, both virtual and in-person, should register for the event.

Everyone at Westview is buzzing with excitement as we prepare for the official opening of Westview High School in August 2025. The sights and sounds of construction on our new high school building can be heard and seen as we progress toward the highly anticipated opening!

This month on the Westview Blog, We are thrilled to share the story of how this groundbreaking initiative came to life and what it means for our students and community. Let's examine the journey to establish Westview High School, the innovative program structure, and the opportunities awaiting future students.

The Westview School believes that when children with autism are educated in a nurturing and supportive environment, they learn, grow, and develop a strong sense of self and an appreciation for others.
