Nurturing Gratitude in
Our Young People
Fostering an attitude of gratitude is essential to cultivating character in our children of all ages. Gratitude is foundational to inner peace and to peace in our Montessori and IB classrooms as well as peace in our world.
All of us are happier and more compassionate people when we show our appreciation to others. We know children can quickly learn “please” and “thank you.” However, guiding them to learn true gratitude takes time.
