Warmer temperatures and rain will ring in the new year with several rounds of showers through the first part of the weekend, and a possibility of severe weather on Monday.

The Water Shortage Warning issued by Hopkinsville Water Environment Authority Tuesday morning has been canceled, and all water use restrictions have been lifted. President/CEO Derrick Watson says customers may resume normal use and consumption.
