We start the week with leading economic indicator results from December. On Tuesday, we’ll get the S&P U.S. manufacturing flash for the first part of January, and the S&P U.S. services flash for January too. Thursday brings us a raft of data with initial jobless claims, real GDP from Q4 of last year, December durable goods orders, and new home sales figures from December. We close out the week on Friday with real disposable income and real consumer spending results from December, and the University of Michigan one- and five-year inflation expectation figures.
Companies with earnings calls this week include Logitech International and Zions Bancorp today. Microsoft headlines the Tuesday calls and is joined by 3M, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Lockheed Martin, Navient, and Verizon. Tesla and AT&T headline Wednesday’s calls, and are joined by Abbott Labs, CSX, Norfolk Southern, and Flex. Visa, American Airlines, Comcast, Valero Energy, American Express, and Colgate-Palmolive are among the many others with calls this week.
