Palm Sunday

What Did Jesus Hear?
...And I saw another crowd which came out to meet Jesus,
likewise with joyful faces and with branches in their hands,
and they were crying out unceasingly with joy.
There were little children there also.
But Jesus was very grave, and the Lord gave me to know
how much He was suffering at the time.(642)

“Hosanna” was reverberating in Jesus' heart
as an echo of “Crucify.”

HOLY SOULS BRICK MEMORIALS

"Between the Holy Souls and Us is
a lasting bond of mutual love and support."
Brick Memorial 2
Work began this week on the Holy Souls Memorial Brick esplanade next to St. Joseph Chapel. A gathering place for our memories and prayers for those who have gone before us.
People who wish to purchase an engraved brick in memory of a loved one can do so by clicking on this link: HOLY SOULS MEMORIAL BRICKS

The esplanade will be put in place using blank bricks initially. These will then be replaced by engraved bricks as we receive them.

Fr. Pillari Publishes Book about
Maria Valtorta

F r. Anthony Pillari ( who many here knew as Fr. Moses) kindly sent us copies of the new book he has co-authored with Stephen Austin:  Maria Valtorta's Life of Christ.

Fr. Pillari's book tackles some of the controversy around Valtorta's major work The Poem of the Man-God , a mystical work relating the life of Christ, which we have found so helpful.

Drawing on his own canonical studies, Fr Pillari responds to many questions about the canonical status of the work. But this book is not simply a canonical defense. It also gathers testimony from some very significant Catholic personages. For instance, the book testifies to St. Teresa of Calcutta' s deep appreciation for Valtorta's work, along with that of Blessed Maria Ines Teresa Arias . It also presents the renowned Scripture scholar Blessed Gabriel Allegra's review and high praise of her work.

Maria Valtorta's Life of Christ is not long, but it is a prudent and well-documented support of the value of reading her work. Many will find it very rewarding reading.

If you're interested, and as a support for Fr Pillari, here is a link to buy it:
