“The central question of a warrior’s training is not how we avoid uncertainty and fear, but how we relate to discomfort.”
-Pema Chodron
You may be aware that the Town of Boone is now requiring that masks be worn in all indoor public places beginning this Tuesday, August 10 at 5:00 p.m.

What does this mean for us? Well, it basically means we can continue as we have been, but with masks in place.

Just like you, we are navigating through and adapting to information and guidelines that seem to be in constant flux.

We are resilient, and we must stay educated and diligent. We will continue to serve our community, and the collective good, in the best and safest way possible.

We will continue to monitor the situation and adapt as necessary so you can feel safe while continuing to practice with us.

One idea we are considering is returning to some live-stream ONLY classes, enabling the teacher to forgo a mask. We may also designate a few classes as requiring proof of vaccination (masks will still be required under this new mandate). We will continue with a 16 person cap for classes.

Please remember that members also have unlimited access to our Video on Demand Library of over 40 classes, with new classes being added.

And all are welcome to our weekly donation-based outdoor class in the Boone Native Gardens, Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Watch this space, as well as our Facebook page and Instagram for updates as they become available.
Most importantly, we ask that you continue to practice yoga with us! In a time of uncertainty, our yoga practice can help us navigate these waters, keeping us centered within and connected to each other.

A special shout out to our Lotus and Peaceful Warrior monthly members- your support is why we were able to remain in business while many other studios have closed their doors permanently. We ask for your ongoing support and membership at this time.
We also ask that you continue to pre-register for in-studio classes. It saves time, makes check-in contact-less, and secures your spot in class.

Finally, we ask that you take a few minutes to contact Senators Burr, Tillis and Representative Foxx to add your voice in support of the Gym Mitigation and Survival Act (GYMS Act: H.R. 890/S. 1613) that would provide relief to businesses like ours that have been uniquely hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic. The button below will take you to a web form to make it easy to send a note.

Thank you for continuing to be there for us, and we’ll continue to be here for you.
Much love,

Valerie Midgett
Studio Owner
