Well a little late getting this out this week. I usually write the newsletter Monday evenings and schedule for Tuesday mornings - but this week, I did a rare thing -- I went out with friends, to see a band and celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Did I say, this was a rare thing! I typically just work, work, and work some more!
What I Wish I Had 40 Years Ago
When I started my business in my twenties, I was a single mom juggling two young kids, late nights, and the early chaos of entrepreneurship—all before the internet became a staple. There were no online communities, no Zoom calls, no mastermind groups. It was just me, figuring it out as I went. And while I learned a lot, I also felt alone... often.
Looking back, I can only imagine how much smoother (and less lonely) the ride would have been if I had someone to bounce ideas off of, to share the frustrations, the small wins, and those big "what do I do now?" moments. I needed more than advice—I needed understanding and accountability.
