This Sunday -- Our Best Parish Potluck This Year!
This follows our Annual Meeting. You won't want to miss it.
Bring Somethin' Good This Time
Beer & Hymns #6 at Big Elm
Our very own Sheffield Volunteer Hose Company No. 1 will benefit from your generous (but voluntary) donation at the door. You will be fed free chili, sides, and sodas. You can buy your own beer. Your offering will help the Hose Company build on two bigger parking bays for better equipment. The event is brought to you by not only our good friends at Big Elm Brewing but also Christ Trinity Church, First Congregational Church of Sheffield, and Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. Bring friends - ALL WELCOME.

OWLES: Won't you be my Valentine?
The OWLES (Older, Wiser Lutherans and Episcopalians) will do its annual service project on the second Wednesday of February (the 13th) at Nancy King’s home at 11 AM. We will pack homemade cookies to be delivered to Sheffield-area Meals on Wheels folks on the next day, and to our own shut-ins. (Valentine’s Day.) Brunch will be served, followed by the packing of Valentine boxes. If you want to make cookies but not attend, please leave in church freezer by Sunday, February 9. If you plan to attend, please email Nancy at  king2380@roadrunner.com .
Partnerships. Mergers. Lutherans & Episcopalians!
February 29
9:00 - 3:00
All Saints', South Hadley

In our third Small Church Summit, we will continue the conversation: what are the challenges? How can we face them together? How can we shape a vibrant future using the gifts of the small church? How can we support one another?

At our last summit, you asked for more ideas about things that have worked. On February 29, we will explore what it means to be a vibrant church in a time of change, and we will hear from parishes that have made the journey in partnership with fellow Episcopalians and Lutherans. We will also look at some way out of the box things – by way of sparking some imagination.

Come for conversation, inspiration, support.
Jubilee 2020
Musical Showcase on February 23
WE NEED YOU!!
Please help by attending the events beginning at 3:00 PM on February 23--- Musical Showcase,  hors d'œuvres , and the raffle, and by contributing items for the raffle. Let Dave Spidal know of your donation.

The New England Synod is encouraging all their congregations to consider highlighting the Jubilee 2020 Seminary Debt Reduction Fund on February 23. This fund was established to reduce or eliminate seminary debt incurred by New England Synod ministers. The total debt is in excess of $1.75 million, with an average of $40,000 per leader. As you might imagine, this takes a toll on the ministers in a number of different areas, both personal and professional. The goal is to continue raising funds during this jubilee year and disburse them in early 2021. We appreciate your support for this important initiative.

Call for musicians and raffle items for Jubilee 2020
Feb 23 is the Musical Showcase and Raffle at Christ Trinity Church at 3:00.
