Your Employment Search (YES) Layoff-to-Employment Action Planner (LEAP)
Under WIOA, job seekers may need services that are comprehensive and tailored to their needs. That's where an Individual Employment Plan (IEP) comes in.

An IEP, according to WIOA...
  • Is an individualized career service.
  • Is jointly developed by the participant and the career planner.
  • Identifies the participant's employment goals.
  • Determines the combination of services needed for the participant to reach employment goals.
  • Is one of the most effective ways to serve individuals with barriers to employment and to coordinate services.

Need help in creating IEPs for job seekers? Your Employment Search (YES) is the perfect tool.

About "Your Employment Search (YES)":  YES provides an assessment and proactive strategy in just 4 steps. With YES, participants determine where they stand in 5 key areas, including career direction, active job searching, and more.

Armed with this information, a staff member and job seeker can develop a plan tailored to the participant's goals and determine the person's most-needed services. YES features a 6-panel foldout design, plus a perforated panel for summarizing these goals and plans.
